Hi, I'm Jeanette. Welcome to my blog - Twigs On My Branches. I have been interested in researching my family tree for the last 50 years. I have interviewed my own parents and grandparents on audio cassette tapes - remember those? I began with every thing being paper. I have boxes and boxes of paperwork, certificates and photos. It used to cost a whopping $5 to get a copy of a birth, death or marriage certificate. I would write to many places asking for copies of certificates and was so thrilled when I would get a fat envelope from Scotland or England. Come along with me as we enjoy some family history. I know we will meet a few colorful characters and have a few laughs along the way!
